JOIN THE CAMPAIGN LAUNCH
Community HealthCare Association of the Dakotas (CHAD) hosted an impactful webinar launching Medicaid Matters to Me, a campaign that illustrates the profound impact Medicaid has on everyone by uplifting the voices and lived experiences from those both directly and indirectly affected by Medicaid – whether as a beneficiary, care provider, employer, teacher, or community member. Participants learned about the tools and resources being developed to optimize story-teller experience and how stories educate and influence decision makers. Participants also learned how to effectively share personal and professional stories to highlight the importance of Medicaid and how these stories can drive real change in policy, funding, and public perception.
During this interactive webinar, we covered:
- The power of storytelling in shaping policy and public opinion – and the importance of this moment;
- How to share your Medicaid story: Key messaging and tools for advocacy;
- A preview of the Medicaid Matters to Me campaign and how you can get involved; and
- How anyone can contribute to the campaign by explaining why Medicaid matters to them.
Whether you’re a health care provider who sees the impact of Medicaid daily, a business owner who supports employees enrolled in Medicaid, or a teacher who understands the importance of access to care for students and families, this webinar is an opportunity for you to take action and ensure that Medicaid’s vital role in our communities is recognized and supported.
Be a part of a movement that drives meaningful change. Through storytelling, we reduce stigma and build meaningful connections.
