Session 2 discusses the importance of preparing thorough documentation for the Operational Site Visit (OSV), offers “best practices” to improve the quality of your board documentation, and looks at some frequently asked questions about board documentation.

Session 3: Board Authority Part 1 (Video, 10:33)

Session 3 looks at Elements a. and b. of HRSA’s Site Visit Protocol, as outlined in Chapter 19 of the Compliance Manual. Element a. discusses the maintenance of board authority. Element b. focuses on the authorities and responsibilities of the board as it relates to articles of incorporation, bylaws, and any other relevant documentation.

Session 4 looks at Elements c., d., and e. of HRSA’s Site Visit Protocol, as outlined in Chapter 20 of the Compliance Manual. Element c. is about the required authorities and responsibilities of the governing board, Element d. covers the process of adopting, evaluating, and updating health center policies, and Element e. covers the process of adopting, evaluating and updating financial and personnel policies.

Session 5 is about Elements a., b., c., and d., of HRSA’s Site Visit Protocol, as outlined in Chapter 20 of the Compliance Manual.
