The Great Plains Health Data Network Summit (GPHDN) Summit & Strategic Planning Conference
CHAD hosted the Great Plains Health Data Network Summit & Strategic Planning Conference to build a vision for the future of health care delivery in North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wyoming. Over the course of the two-day event, attendees worked together in a collaborative, fast-paced, and energizing environment to create a long-term vision for the network. The result was a new three-year strategic plan.
Amanda Laramie, Coleman Associates’ chief operations officer, facilitated strategic planning. Community HealthCare Association of the Dakotas and Great Plains Health Data Network staff and Leslie Southworth, Director of Montana Health Plus, led additional sessions.
Target Audience: Health center leaders, GPHDN Leadership Committee members, Health Information Technology (HIT) and Information Technology (IT) staff, quality improvement (QI) staff, clinical staff, and Azara super users.
Data Storytelling Workshop
The Great Plains Health Data Network (GPHDN) welcomed Andy Krackov from Hillcrest Advisory to lead a data storytelling workshop on the final day of the GPHDN Summit & Strategic Planning Conference. The workshop included sessions on how to transform health care data into meaningful data stories and develop meaningful data visualizations. Health centers got an opportunity to apply what they had learned as they analyzed real health center data to develop a data story.
Target Audience: Health center leaders, GPHDN Leadership Committee members, Health Information Technology (HIT) and Information Technology (IT) staff, quality improvement (QI) staff, clinical staff, and Azara super users along with marketing and communications staff.
