Navigators are trained staff that offer free support to South Dakotans. We provide fair and accurate information about your health insurance options. We’re not “selling” insurance. We receive no monetary incentives when you use our services or enroll for a plan that works for you. We’re simply here to help!

Open Enrollment is NOW!

Every year enrollment is between November 1–January 15. This is the time to compare your coverage, select a plan for the upcoming calendar year, and get enrolled! Enrolling in health insurance will get you covered for routine health screenings and unpredictable health setbacks. Take a step towards better health by working with our trained Navigators (for free!) to answer all the questions you have and find a plan that fits your needs and budget best.

How do you get coverage
outside of the open enrollment period?

You may qualify to enroll in, or change your insurance plan outside of Open Enrollment if you:

  • Experienced income changes;
  • Lost past health insurance coverage;
  • Got married;
  • Had a baby;
  • Adopted a child;
  • Moved to a different zip code;
  • Hold a membership in a federally recognized Tribe;
  • Or depending on your DACA immigration status.
