Before navigator services or Marketplace coverage, I struggled with:
- understanding the insurance terms;
- figuring out what the abbreviations meant;
- knowing which doctors and clinics were in network;
- comparing different plans;
- knowing what I actually needed; and,
- trying to make a confident decision on my own.
The navigator services helped by explaining the insurance lingo, breaking down all the abbreviations, showing me which doctors and places were covered, and simply being there to walk me through the whole process. They even gave me time to think it through and called me at a later date to finish up the enrollment. They helped me think through my options so i could make a wise, informed decision.
